My minimalist quest to live off grid in the desert in a modified 1977 Dodge motor home rebuilt from mostly recycled, and re-purposed stuff. It's a purposeful lifestyle of survival to help prepare me for a possible mission to Mars in 2034... or something like that.
I came home from work the other day only to discover that the road to my house was completely burred in snow ranging in depths of 1.5 to 3.5 feet.
It took me a few days to shovel all the snow off my road so I could finally drive home. My neighbor was much worse off. He was snowed in for over a week before he finished shoveling several miles of snow.
Then I installed some solar lights on the posts by the gate so I wouldn't keep passing by it in the dark.
